What is your training?

I graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I pursued my first Master of Science degree in Post Secondary Education with a minor in Psychology at Troy University with thoughts of teaching. Midway through the program, I realized that teaching wasn't my niche, but guiding others was my heart's desire. I completed the program, however immediately after graduation, I enrolled in another graduate-level program with Troy University, this time graduating with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. After graduating, I received 3,000 hours of supervised practice before gaining my full licensure as a Professional Counselor. As if that wasn't enough, I obtained another degree from Troy University; this time, it was the Education Specialist degree in Community Mental Health. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology with a Specialization in Counseling Psychology degree from Northcentral University.
